Report Annual Gaming Industry Event, Amsterdam 2017

On Friday 3 February 2017 Kalff Katz Franssen again hosted the Annual Gaming Industry Event traditionally held at the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam. The event was this year co-hosted with the International Masters of Gaming Law.
The event was a huge success with over 150 attendees from all over the world. Like in all previous years key industry figures, domestic as well as international land-based and remote operators, trade organisations, regulators, politicians, and government officials attended our event. Furthermore, we were very pleased with 3 highly esteemed speakers: Erwin van Lambaart (CEO Holland Casino), Marja Appelman (Director of the Gaming Authority) and Peter-Paul de Goeij (MD Lottovate).
Obviously hot topic was the current modernisation of the Dutch gaming policy including the opening of the charitable lotteries market and the envisaged opening of the land-based casino market and the remote gaming market.
